Ratings: Fox’s ‘Following’ Finale Sees Slight Boost

NBC tops ratings, ABC is first in viewers

NBC’s one-two punch topped the Monday ratings, while ABC took the night in viewers.

Fox, which finished fifth in ratings, saw “The Following” tick up 7 percent in its Season 2 finale. The CW’s lineup tied its lowest ratings to date.

NBC was first in ratings with a 2.9 rating/8 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in viewers with an average of 11.2 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 earned a 3.0/8 — tying last week’s regular Monday series low — and 11.4 million viewers. “The Blacklist” at 10 received a 2.7/8 and 10.9 million viewers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 2.2/6 and first in viewers with 13.4 million. At 8, “Dancing With the Stars” earned a 2.4/7 and 15.1 million viewers. “Castle” at 10 received a 1.9/5 and 10.1 million viewers.

CBS was third in ratings with a 1.6/5 and in viewers with 6.1 million. At 8, “2 Broke Girls” earned a 2.2/7 and 7.8 million viewers. “Friends With Better Lives” at 8:30 received a 1.9/6 and 6.2 million viewers. “Mike & Molly” at 9 had a 2.2/6 and 7.5 million viewers. Repeats followed.

Univision was fourth in ratings with a 1.3/4 and fifth in viewers with 3 million.

Fox was fifth in ratings with a 1.2/3 and fourth in total viewers with 4.4 million. After a rerun, “The Following” season finale got a 1.5/4 and 4.8 million viewers.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.4/1 and in viewers with 1.1 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in total viewers with 888,000. “Star-Crossed” at 8 had a 0.3/1 and 874,000 viewers. “The Tomorrow People” at 9 got a 0.3/1 and 902,000 viewers.
