“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice stormed off set during a satellite interview with “Access Hollywood Live,” and co-host Kit Hoover thought it was hilarious.
The drama started when co-host Dave Karger asked Giudice if she’s worried about her husband’s deportation given that he is an Italian citizen and currently serving a 41-month prison sentence for bank, mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud. “RHONJ” co-star Melissa Gorga, who is Giudice’s sister-in-law, was also present, and sat silently during the uncomfortable exchange.
“I don’t think that’s something that you should be asking,” Giudice said before leaving. “Sorry, I think that’s really rude.”
Hoover’s reaction was to immediately rib her co-host. “Karger, look what you did,” Hoover said with a laugh. “I have you here one day, and what do you do? You stir it up.”
She also defended Karger’s question because “it’s in the news that this could be a fact,” and then asked the control room to go back to the satellite feed, and laughed when Gorga was gone, too.
“Dave, I’ve never had a walk off. High five,” Hoover celebrated, and encouraged the crew behind the camera to give Karger a round of applause.
