That’s it, “The Real Housewives of Potomac” Season 9 has come to a close, but you didn’t think it’d be over until we found out what Wendy Osefo had on her phone.
The show picks up right where things left off with Mia Thornton exiting the stage after being referred to as a terrible mother. Between Osefo’s big reveal that involves her husband Eddie Osefo and Stacey Rusch’s ex-boyfriend T.J. Jones, the reunion has a climactic end with some surprise footage of Karen Huger, who was recently sentenced to one year in prison for driving under the influence.
Here are the five biggest revelations from Season 9 of “RHOP.”

Mia Thornton Leaves the Reunion
After a verbal beat down from her “RHOP” cast mates over her behavior this season, a tearful Mia Thornton unraveled the ties on her dress and left the reunion. At the end of the show, Gizelle Bryant called her “whack” for running off and facing the ladies’ criticisms head on. She never returned.

T.J. Jones Claims Stacey Rusch Paid Him to Be on the Show
So first off, we were already wondering why T.J. Jones wasn’t at the reunion, and fans got even more taken aback when Jones said “f–k” the people involved with “RHOP” during his FaceTime call with Wedny Osefo’s husband, Eddie Osefo. At first, Rusch said she didn’t want Jones there because the two are no longer together, Osefo revealed via text message from Eddie, that Jones said Rusch paid him to be her “love interest” for the season. On top of that, Jones told Rusch to “run him his money because the money is not adding up,” saying she still owes him more coins.
In response, Rusch said she doesn’t believe Jones would say that and if he did, the accusation is a flat out lie. However, the production’s control room said they have footage of Jones saying it on tape. The show then brings out Eddie, who confirms that Jones did say Rusch owes him but for what Eddie initially said he didn’t. However, Eddie then said Jones did in fact say Rusch hired him to be on the show and still owes him money.
“Let me say it so you hear me, I didn’t need T.J. to get on this platform or any platform, let me be clear,” Rusch said, shutting the conversation down. “I don’t need an accessory and I’m not going to say it again.”
By the end of it, production played the footage and low and behold Jones says, “You know she’s paying me to do the show.” Rusch maintains that she’s never paid him and never made any promise to pay him, and plans to call him with her attorney. None of the women believe her.

Keirna Stewart Says She Offered Karen Huger Rehab Services
During a moment of reflection, the ladies shared their thoughts on Karen Huger car accident and her poor drinking habits. For Keirna Stewart, she expressed that she was sad that Huger hid her struggles from her despite their close relationship and revealed that she offered rehab services from her boyfriend Greg’s community health care organization Open Arms.
“Greg has a clinic; we deal with substance abuse and things like that. I even privately extended that to her,” Stewart said, adding that Huger declined the offer.

Gizelle Bryant Says Karen Huger Didn’t Want to Take a Plea Deal
One of the biggest shockers from the night was Gizelle Bryant stating Karen Huger, who claims she didn’t watch the footage from the night of her crash, never wanted to take a plea deal.
In addition, Huger said she heard Huger was offered two plea deals but didn’t want to take any arrangement: one that would have given Huger six months of house arrest or 60 days in jail. She rejected the deals thinking she could win, Bryant said.
On the side, Ashley Darby said a journalist told her that a man was driving in the car with Huger that night of the accident, though Darby didn’t know the man’s identity.

In Unseen Footage Karen Huger Admits to Self-Medicating With Antidepressants and Drinking the Night of Her Accident
As the reunion closed out, host and Bravo executive producer Andy Cohen showed the women an unseen clip of Karen Huger and her husband, Ray Huger, discussing the night of her accident. The video was filmed on Dec. 27, 2024, the day before she left for rehab.
Huger admitted to drinking wine after taking antidepressants, which she said she’s been taking since the death of her parents. She also shared that she never watched the police footage her drunken night until a court hearing.
When the clip was over, the ladies called the whole scene a cover-up and another attempt by Huger to not accept accountability for her poor behavior. On top of that, both Wendy Osefo and Ashley Darby said they’ve been told by restaurant workers that Huger would come to the establishments daily and day drink, which Darby was told was happening before Huger’s parents died.
“The Real Housewives of Potomac” is now streaming on Peacock.
