The custody battle between “Blurred Lines” singer Robin Thicke and his ex-wife Paula Patton continued down its increasingly ugly path on Thursday, with court documents claiming that Thicke “on different occasions kicked, pushed and hit” Patton.

A request for a domestic violence restraining order filed in Los Angeles Superior Court claims that Thicke has “physically and emotionally harmed” Patton, and that due to Thicke’s alleged “ongoing anger, alcohol and drug problems, [Patton] is in reasonable apprehension of imminent serious bodily injury to herself.”

The request for the restraining order, which was granted on Thursday, claims that Thicke’s behavior has included “breaking down locked doors, screaming at [Patton], pushing and kicking [Patton] and hitting [Patton] with a closed fist.”

The court papers also claim that Thicke has a problem with cocaine abuse. In Patton’s declaration accompanying the request, she claims that Thicke referred to cocaine as “the cheese.”

Patton also claims seedy sexual behavior on Thicke’s part; during a Valentine’s Day excursion to the Chateau Marmont, Patton claims, Thicke attempted to have sex with another woman while Patton slept, but later admitted he was unable to do so because of the amount of cocaine he had used.

Thicke’s ex wife also claims that she caught him having “inappropriate contact” with a masseuse in their home, and that he broke down a locked door after she confronted him about it.

The latest allegations are the most recent unpleasant turn in the couple’s legal battle. Earlier this month, Patton filed legal papers accusing Thicke of “excessively spanking” their son Julian.

In the earlier filing, Patton also said that she is “concerned that Respondent [Thicke] is engaging in alcohol and drug use while Julian is in his custody. I am aware that Respondent has a history of drug use, which existed during our marriage.”

For his part, Thicke filed papers on Thursday claiming that Patton has engaged in an ongoing violation of the custody orders involving Julian.

The couple married in 2005, announcing their split in 2014.
