SAG Awards Ratings Dip 12% From Prior Year

The TNT/TBS combined telecasts brought in 4.6 million viewers on Saturday night

TNT and TBS’ live simulcast of the 20th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards scored a combined audience of more than 4.6 million viewers in Live + Same Day delivery on Saturday night.

That total represents a 12 percent drop from prior year, when the show roped in 5.2 million people.

Among the networks’ key demos, the simulcast drew 1.6 million adults 18-49, 1.8 million adults 25-54 and 703,000 adults 18-34.

This year, the coveted Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture went to “American Hustle.” Top TV ensemble honors went to “Modern Family” for comedy and “Breaking Bad” for drama.

The SAG Awards made its debut in 1995. The show is broadcast from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center.
