Fox News announced Thursday that former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has joined the network as a contributor.

She will deliver political commentary and analysis across Fox News’ platforms, including Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, Fox News Digital, Fox Nation and the radio and podcast division.

“Fox News has been the number one news organization in the country for 17 years running and I am beyond proud to join their incredible stable of on-air contributors in providing political insights and analysis,” Sanders said.

It’s a big week for former members of President Trump’s White House communications team. The news comes after her White House predecessor Sean Spicer was announced as a contestant on the upcoming season of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” Wednesday.

Former communications director Anthony Scaramucci spent his week publicly taking on the president after announcing he no longer supports his re-election bid.

Sanders joins former Trump administration communications director Hope Hicks at Fox, although she’s in the corporate division. Hicks was named chief communications officer at “New Fox” in October 2018.

Moving from the White House to TV has happened frequently, with members of the Clinton, Bush and Obama administrations all taking positions in various media posts after leaving the White House.
