Sheila MacVicar is the latest correspondent hired for Al Jazeera America's new "America Tonight," its primetime evening show.
MacVicar, who will be based in Al Jazeera America’s Washington, D.C. bureau, joins previously announced correspondents Adam May, Lori Jane Gliha and Christof Putzel, and special correspondent Soledad O’Brien.
MacVicar (left) is a three-time Emmy winner who most recently served as international correspondent for CBS News. She previously worked as a foreign correspondent for CNN, ABC News and CBC News.
Al Jazeera America is expected to begin airing next month.
