Warner Bros. has tapped "Shrek Forever After" director Mike Mitchell to helm its comedy-fantasy project "Monster Squad" with Warner-based Donald De Line producing. Mitchell takes over directing duties from McG, who had been attached to the project in 2007. The Michael Arndt script centers on a neurotic father who must confront childhood monsters.
