‘Silicon Valley’ Adds Erin Breen in Recurring Role (Exclusive)

Actress joins Thomas Middleditch, TJ Miller in third season of HBO comedy

Erin Breen has joined “Silicon Valley” in a recurring capacity, TheWrap has learned.

Breen will co-star as Jan, a new salesperson hired by the Pied Piper team, in the upcoming season of the HBO comedy.

“Silicon Valley,” starring Thomas Middleditch, T.J. Miller, Kumail Nanjiani, Martin Starr, Zach Woods and Josh Brener, was renewed in April, the same week its second season premiered.

“‘Veep’ and ‘Silicon Valley’ are terrific series, and I’m immensely proud that they will return to HBO next year,” HBO President of Programming Michael Lombardo said at the time of the renewal. “Along with ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Last Week Tonight with John Oliver,’ both of which have already been renewed for 2016, they give HBO a stellar Sunday night like no other.”

The show is created and executive produced by Mike Judge (“Office Space”), with Alec Berg, Tom Lassally, Michael Rotenberg, John Altschuler, Dave Krinsky and Scott Rudin also executive producing. The series is produced by Judgemental Films Inc. in association with 3 Arts Entertainment.

Breen is represented by Stewart Talent Chicago and Ad Astra Management.
