‘Sleepy Hollow’ Canceled by Fox After 4 Seasons

Supernatural drama lost star Nicole Beharie last season

“Sleepy Hollow” has been canceled after four seasons on Fox, TheWrap has learned.

The supernatural drama starred Tom Mison as Ichabod Crane, alongside Lyndie Greenwood, Lance Gross and Jessica Camacho.

The series was on the bubble last season after star Nicole Beharie departed the series and her character, Abbie Mills, was killed off in the finale. The show was ultimately renewed for a fourth season without Beharie, who played the detective partner to the time-displaced Crane.

The cancellation comes the same day that Fox gave the axe to the Morris Chestnut drama “Rosewood” after two seasons. The network has also canceled the freshman baseball drama “Pitch,” starring Kylie Bunbury and Mark-Paul Gosselaar.

Fox is set to unveil its complete fall programming slate at its upfronts presentation to ad buyers next week, including which existing shows will return and which pilots will be picked up to series.
