Chris Evans Prepares to Throw Tilda Swinton From a Train in New U.S. ‘Snowpiercer’ Trailer (Video)

Director Bong Joon-ho’s futuristic thriller will make its North American premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival on June 11

We’ve seen foreign trailer after foreign trailer for “Snowpiercer,” a futuristic dystopian thriller starring Chris Evans. But now that its U.S. premiere is right around the corner, distributor RADiUS/TWC is finally releasing U.S. trailers.

Directed by South Korean filmmaker Bong Joon-ho (“The Host,” “Mother”), “Snowpiercer” takes place on the titular train traveling the globe after a failed global-warming experiment killed off all life on the planet.

Thousands of survivors live on the train in a class system that favors only a few, and Evans’ character aims to change that by leading a revolution from the caboose all the way to the locomotive pulling humanity along the tracks circling a frozen world.

Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Ed Harris and Octavia Spencer co-star.

The new trailer (above) features Swinton’s elitist character explaining  just how awesome the front of the train is, while Evans’ character plots his fight for control.

“Snowpiercer” will make its premiere on North American soil on June 11 at the Los Angeles Film Festival, and will hit theaters on June 27.
