Fox competition “So You Think You Can Dance” fell to a new all-time low on Wednesday, while CBS bested the competition with “Big Brother” and “Extant.”
CBS was first in ratings with a 1.5 rating/3 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and first in viewers with an average of 6.5 million, according to preliminary numbers. “Big Brother” at 8 p.m. topped the night in ratings with a 2.0/8 and had 6.3 million viewers. “Extant” at 9 got a 1.5/5 and led primetime with 7.9 million viewers. A repeat followed.
Univision was second in ratings with a 1.2/4 and fifth in viewers with 2.9 million.

NBC was third in ratings with a 1.1/4 and second in viewers with 2.9 million. Following a rerun, “Taxi Brooklyn” at 10 received a 0.8/3 and 4.8 million viewers.
Fox was fourth in ratings with a 1.0/4 and third in viewers with 3.6 million. “So You Think You Can Dance” was the only show on its schedule.
ABC was fifth in ratings with a 0.9/3 and fourth in total viewers with 3.5 million. Following reruns, “Motive” at 10 had a 0.7/2 and 3.4 million viewers.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in total viewers with 1.4 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in total viewers with 724,000, airing entirely repeats.
