Ratings: Fox Wins Wednesday With ‘So You Think You Can Dance’

ABC’s “Motive” ticks up

Fox topped a rerun-filled Wednesday with an original “So You Think You Can Dance.”

The only other new show on the English-language networks’ primetime schedule, ABC’s “Motive,” ticked up 25 percent.

Fox was first in ratings with a 1.7 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in viewers with an average of 5.3 million, according to preliminary numbers. “So You Think You Can Dance” was the only show on the primetime schedule.

Univision was second in ratings with a 1.1/4 and fifth in viewers with 2.9 million.

CBS, ABC and ABC tied for third in ratings, each with a 1.0. ABC had a 4 share, CBS and NBC had a 3 share apiece. CBS was first in viewers with 5.5 million; ABC was third with 4.2 million; NBC was fourth with 3.9 million. CBS and NBC aired entirely reruns.

For ABC, following repeats, “Motive” at 10 got a 1.0/3 and 4.7 million viewers.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.7/2 and in total viewers with 1.8 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in total viewers with 977,000. It aired reruns.
