Just when it seems like the droids from the original “Star Wars” films will be wandering the desert forever, they finally meet the breakout star of “The Force Awakens” in the video, released Friday, announcing a contest to win tickets for the U.K. premiere on Dec. 17.
The highly anticipated seventh installment in the “Star Wars” franchise hits theaters Dec. 18.
“The Force Awakens” is directed by J.J. Abrams and stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow, with Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker reprising their roles from previous “Star Wars” films.
