After pre-sale tickets for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” sold out on Monday night, many discouraged fans flocked to eBay and Craigslist to buy seats, but were quick to find out that most tickets were selling for outrageous amounts of money.

Ticket holders for opening night of the franchise’s seventh installment are using popular demand for passes to their advantage, selling them at values ranging from $699 to $10,000.

There are $1,000 tickets for a 3D showing at 10:30 p.m. in Los Angeles, $750 tickets for an IMAX 7 p.m. screening in Austin, and a whopping $10,000 VIP package for a Dec. 17 screening in North Canton, Ohio. At least that seller is throwing in a limo ride.

Tickets for the film went on sale Monday night and have since broken a number of presale records, grossing over $6.5 million for IMAX screenings alone. AMC reported that it had sold out more than 1,000 screenings in less than 12 hours.

So yes, “Star Wars” fans, you can still get your tickets for opening night. You might just have to take out a second mortgage.
