The streaming platform StreamUp has struck a deal to partner with the digital media convention Playlist Live.
The deal will see StreamUp providing live streams and interactive elements as part of the convention’s “Virtual Experience.” StreamUp president Will Keenan previously partnered with the convention in 2015 during his tenure as president at Endemol Beyond USA.
“Alex and the Playlist Live team put on one of the best, premium quality shows worldwide and partnering with StreamUp, the first premium live-streaming platform is a perfect fit. This immersive Virtual Experience is going to defy every convention viewers have about conventions,” said StreamUp President Will Keenan.
“The Virtual Experience is a unique facet of Playlist Live and we’re looking forward to expanding it even more with StreamUp at the 2016 Orlando event,” said Alex Tchekmeian, Founder and CEO of AKT Enterprises, which owns and operates Playlist Live. “We’re excited to open up the Playlist Live experience to even more people who might not be able to physically be there.”
Playlist Live will take place April 22-26 in Orlando, Florida.
