TNT is returning to the scene of the crime with a second season renewal for reality series, “Cold Justice.”

The cable channel has ordered 10 new episodes of the series from executive producer Dick Wolf (“Law & Order,” “Chicago Fire”) and Magical Elves (“Top Chef,” “Fashion Star”). It’s slated for an early-2014 return.

“Cold Justice” is a reality-drama hybrid following former prosecutor Kelly Siegler and former crime-scene investigator Yolanda McClary as they set out to solve small-town murder cases that have lingered for years without answers or closure.

“We’re very proud to be renewing ‘Cold Justice,’ which has already delivered real-world results for several of the cases featured on the show,” said TNT’s senior vice president of unscripted, David Eilenberg. “Viewers have come to see Kelly and Yolanda as a real-life counterpart to such crime-drama duos as ‘Cagney & Lacey’ and even our own ‘Rizzoli & Isles.’”
