The executive will be responsible for overseeing national ad sales functions and revenue generating strategies for FNG’s domestic entertainment and sports television businesses, including Fox Broadcasting, FOX Sports, and the company’s broad array of national cable outlets and their non-linear extensions.
Fox said Byrne received the promotion as part of the company’s efforts to better align FNG’s advertising sales teams.
The integration will combine the cable and broadcast network sales organizations, allowing the combined group to more effectively serve advertising partners and drive revenue with a focus on relationships, people and innovative advertising products.
