Tom Brady filmed his cameo appearance on “Ted 2” long before the Deflategate scandal that ultimately landed him in an appeal hearing that began this week.

However, that didn’t stop the biggest challenge of the New England Patriots QB’s career from ending up in the raucous comedy.

Boston native and die-hard Patriots fan Mark Wahlberg has made it very clear that he supports Brady in his fight against the NFL suspension, and his character John Bennett is a big admirer of the Super Bowl Champion’s too.

The original scene depicted Brady sleeping in bed as John and Ted — who is looking for a perfect sperm donor so he can have a baby with his new wife — sneak in and try and steal his seed.

“Two MVPs, guaranteed Hall of Famer — now lets give him a hand job into this cup,” the bawdy bear says. Brady quickly wakes up and flings Ted off his balcony. “That was a perfect spiral,” John says in awe.

But after the scene was shot and all hell broke lose with Brady being accused of ordering the deflation of footballs during the AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts last January, another line was added where John tells the quarterback: “I think your balls are perfect.”

I didn’t get a chance to run it past Tom. But I know what a sense of humor Tom has and how he looks at the whole situation,” Wahlberg told USAToday. “I haven’t spoken to Tom since it all broke.”

“That was an ADR (automated dialogue replacement) line,” creator and voice of Ted, Seth MacFarlane explained. “That all happened after we shot the movie.

“John, as a Boston character, is defending Tom, so I don’t think it will be a problem,” he added.
