Tomi Lahren Slams Republican Party: ‘You’re Not Working Hard Enough’ (Video)

“Republicans, the honeymoon is over,” conservative commentator says on Fox News

Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren is appearing on Fox News’ “Hannity” every day this week, offering a version of her “Final Thoughts” segment packaged as “Final Word.” During her Tuesday appearance, the former TheBlaze host ripped the Republican party.

“My final word tonight is a reminder to our elected Republicans, you work for us and you’re not working hard enough,” Lahren said to open her monologue.

Lahren said the Republican Party can’t seem to do what they promised, which is “repeal Obamacare.”

“When they were out campaigning they were pretty confident they could repeal Obamacare. They were pretty confident when we voted for them, but now what? Republicans, the honeymoon is over,” she said. “Now is your time.”

Lahren warned the GOP that it’s a “major priority problem” if they worked harder to get elected than they’re currently working for the American people. She said the GOP will lose in the 2018 midterm elections if Republicans “sit back” and waste time.

“The American people won’t forgive the GOP for that,” she said.

Lahren is a television free agent after settling a wrongful termination lawsuit against TheBlaze and its founder Glenn Beck because she was suspended shorty after admitting she was pro-choice on an episode of the talk show “The View.”

Per the settlement, Lahren kept her Facebook page, which boasts more than 4 million followers. However, Lahren agreed to return any intellectual property created by TheBlaze that has been posted on the Facebook account.

Lahren rose to fame with a series of polarizing viral videos in which she often defended Trump and mocked the president’s critics. She is currently working for the pro-Trump advocacy group, Great America Alliance.
