Tornado Survivor Reunited With Lost Dog During Live Interview (Video)

Barbara Garcia digs dog from the rubble

Here's one small, happy moment amid the devastation in Oklahoma: A woman who lost her dog when her home was leveled found him in the middle of an interview with CBS News.

Barbara Garcia explained how she was able to survive the tornado near Oklahoma City that has killed at least 51 people, but pointed to the rubble of her home.

"I hollered for my little dog and he didn't answer, or didn't come, so I know he's in here somewhere," she said.

A few moments later, the reporter interrupted her: "The dog! The dog!"

And there he was: A small, grey dog, peering out from the wreckage. He appeared to be, like Toto in "The Wizard of Oz," a cairn terrier.

"Well I thought God just answered one prayer, to let me be okay," Garcia said. "He answered both of 'em. Because this was my second prayer."
