‘Twilight Zone’ Teaser Sends CBS ‘Off the Air’ During Super Bowl (Video)

Jordan Peele’s All Access series debuts in April

CBS debuted the first teaser for its upcoming reboot of “The Twilight Zone” during the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Disguised as a takeover of CBS’s Super Bowl broadcast, the spot, set on the field at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, is the first to show Peele as narrator of the horror/sci-fi anthology series. “When the truth is not the truth, what dimension are you even in?” he asks before disappearing through a door.

In addition to stepping into Rod Serling’s role as “Twilight Zone” narrator, Peele is also serving as executive producer on the reboot. The show is set to debut on CBS All Access on April 1.

Previously revealed cast members include Ike Barinholtz, John Cho, Lucinda Dryzek, Taissa Farmiga, Greg Kinnear, Luke Kirby, Sanaa Lathan, Kumail Nanjiani, Adam Scott, Rhea Seehorn, Alison Tolman, Jacob Tremblay, Jefferson White, Jonathan Whitesell, Jessica Williams, DeWanda Wise and Steven Yeun.

The new series, which will debut later this year, will be produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Simon Kinberg’s Genre Films. Peele and Kinberg serve as executive producers along with Win Rosenfeld, Audrey Chon, Carol Serling, Rick Berg and Greg Yaitanes.
