It is not yet known how many episodes Carter has been booked for, or when she will first appear on the sitcom, which returns Sept. 26. However, Carter will play a version of herself on the series — a version which Alan Harper (played by Jon "Duckie" Cryer)  harbored a crush on in the mid to late '70s.

In addition to Carter, "Men" has cast Amber Tamblyn on the series, as the lesbian daughter of Charlie Harper (played by ousted star Charlie Sheen).

EW.com first reported the news of Carter's "Two and a Half Men" casting.
