TV producer Neal Baer and his production company Baer Bones have signed a pod deal with 20th Century Fox.

Under the terms of the deal, Baer will exclusively develop new television projects, both network and cable, for the studio. Jessica Shulman will continue to run Baer Bones.

“Neal is a visionary producer whose brand combines intelligence, suspense, spellbinding characters and enormous commercial appeal,” said Jonnie Davis, the studio’s President of Creative Affairs, in a statement when the deal was announced on Wednesday.

“We’ve been anxious to work with him for years and we’re excited to have him bring his eagle eye for great material and his skills as a showrunner to our development efforts.”

Baer has earned seven Emmy nominations throughout his career as writer, creator and producer. He has served as showrunner and executive producer on several shows, including “ER,” “Law & Order: SVU” and “Under the Dome.”

Baer is repped by UTA and attorney Michael Gendler.
