Facing "American Idol," "The Voice" held half its audience from a very strong debut in which it beat both "Dancing With the Stars" and "Glee."
NBC's singing competition lost big to Fox's, television's biggest show, as the two went head-to-head for the first time on Wednesday. But it still had strong numbers for an encore: 2.1/5 in the 18-49 demo and 6 million viewers.

In its much-hyped debut Tuesday, "The Voice" scored an impressive 5.1/13 and 11.8 million total viewers to win the night.
The rebroadcast gave NBC its strongest 18-49 rating in this time period in 11 weeks — since February 9 — and biggest overall audience since March 30. It ranked second among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and other key demographics, and was up 11 percent in the demo.
