Frank Ocean gave his first TV performance Monday, singing the unrequited love song "Bad Religion" on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon."
The Fallon performance came just days after the hip-hop and R&B artist came out in a long online post describing his unreturned love for another man. "Bad Religion" chronicled a similar situation.
"I could never make him love me, no," sang Ocean, backed by a string section and Fallon's house band, The Roots.
Ocean also surprised fans by releasing his debut album, "Channel Orange," on iTunes a week ahead of schedule. It was the No. 1 album Tuesday.
