Watch President Obama Speak on Gun Control Measures (Video)

President Obama will announce executive actions Tuesday morning intended to curb gun violence after the deadly killings in San Bernardino, California, the latest mass shooting during his presidency.

Speaking with the victims of recent mass killings beside him, Obama is expected to call for mandatory background checks for some private sales.

The administration would also increase funding for mental health treatment, as well as for staffing at the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives.
