Jesse Eisenberg has the confidence, intelligence and magnetic screen presence to play the high-profile supervillain, and he showed convincing flashes of anger throughout his Oscar-nominated performance as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in “The Social Network.”
While Jeremy Irons is another solid addition to the ensemble, it would’ve been interesting to see director Zack Snyder and writers David S. Goyer and Chris Terrio take that character in a different direction.
