FX has ordered a comedy series pilot created by and starring Zach Galifianakis, co-written by Louis C.K.
The Galifianakis pilot is the first production under FX Productions recently announced overall deal with Louis C.K. and his production company, Pig Newton.
FX Productions now has 12 comedy pilots currently in production.
Galifianakis serves as executive producer of the show. Louis C.K., Blair Breard and Dave Becky are executive producer, along with Andrea Pett-Joseph and Marc Gurvitz. Galifianakis is represented by Brillstein Entertainment Partners. C.K. is represented by 3 Arts Entertainment. Breard is represented by UTA.
The announcement came at the Television Critics Association winter press tour from Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, the Presidents of Original Programing for FX Networks and FX Productions.
