A&E Developing Body-Trade Drama With Jerry Bruckheimer

Project revolves around a mild-mannered cemetery caretaker who’s forced into a grim business

Jerry Bruckheimer and A&E are working on a ghoulish notion together.

The cable network is developing a drama, “Harvest,” with Bruckheimer executive producing, an individual with knowledge of the deal told TheWrap.

The one-hour drama, which has received a script deal from A&E, centers on a mild-mannered cemetery caretaker who finds his small-town life in jeopardy when his estranged criminal father forces him into the body trade business. The project is being produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television — whose Jonathan Littman is also an executive producer — in association with Warner Horizon Television.

KristieAnne Reed will serve as co-executive producer. Ian Sobel and Matt Morgan are writing, as well as serving as supervising producers.
