ABC is moving forward with a pilot for the “Agents of SHIELD” spinoff “Marvel’s Most Wanted,” network chief Paul Lee announced Saturday.
During his executive session at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, Lee confirmed that the spinoff starring Adrianne Palicki has received a pilot order from the network.
“We loved the script, think it’s pretty great,” Lee said. “Going to be making that one over the next few months.”
The drama will revolve around “Agents of SHIELD’s” Bobbi Morse, a.k.a. “Mockingbird,” played by Palicki, and Lance Hunter, played by Nick Blood.
Lee also praised the network’s other Marvel franchise, “Agent Carter.”
Speaking of the show’s second season, Lee said, “She comes out west to California, and turns out the sunshine is the perfect match for this series. It’s going to be a really strong season of ‘Agent Carter.’”
