Arnold Schwarzenegger is attached to star in the nuanced revenge movie “478” for Darren Aronofsky‘s Protozoa Pictures, an individual familiar with the project has told TheWrap.

Javier Gullon (“Enemy”) wrote the character-driven script and while there’s no director attached yet, production could start as soon as this fall.

Schwarzenegger will play a man who loses his wife and child in a plane crash that was the result of an air traffic controller’s error. Though the controller is publicly vilified, it’s not enough for Schwarzenegger, who comes looking for an explanation.

Schwarzenegger recently showed a new side of himself in the thoughtful zombie movie “Maggie,” but he’ll be back in his beloved role as the Terminator in “Terminator: Genisys” on July 1.

Schwarzenegger is represented by CAA, which will represent domestic distribution rights to “478.”
