Could poopy-pants Jennifer Lawrence be rubbing off on her “American Hustle” co-star Bradley Cooper because apparently the actor went a little informal at the White House State Dinner last week.

The Oscar-nominated star appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Monday to discuss, among other things, how he ditched his undies for the dinner in honor of French president François Hollande.
As Cooper explained it, the decision to go commando to the swanky event because of weight gain he’s recently experienced for an upcoming role.

“I’ve gained about 15 pounds in four weeks, and nothing fits me anymore,” the actor told DeGeneres. “So I wore the tuxedo I wore to the Golden Globes. I just sort of threw it in the bag and brought it and went to Washington D.C.”

Upon getting dressed for the event, however, Bradley discovered that he’d have to ditch his drawers if he wanted to fit into his pants.
“I’m getting dressed like 10 minutes before I was supposed to go and literally the pants go up to like here,” Cooper recalled, indicating an area south of his crotch. “I just started laughing, actually; this is hilarious. I’m going to meet the President. So I had to go commando.”
