Broad Green Names Emmy Chang as Publicity Head After Adam Keen Exit (Exclusive)

Former Weinstein Company VP will report to studio marketing president Dylan Wiley

Broad Green Pictures has promoted Emmy Chang to Senior Vice President of Publicity, TheWrap can report exclusively.

Chang will take the feature publicity reins from recently exited communications head Adam Keen. She’ll report to Broad Green President of Marketing Dylan Wiley, and set strategies for the company’s upcoming slate of original wide releases and acquisitions titles like Kate Winslet‘s “The Dressmaker.”

“Over the past year, Emmy has proven to be a strong and resourceful leader,” Wiley said in a statement. “She brings a wealth of experience to her new role and will undoubtedly offer a unique perspective to our business.”

Prior to joining the company, Chang served as Vice President of National Publicity at The Weinstein Company, where she oversaw releases like “August: Osage County” and “The Imitation Game.” She’s previously held titles at Relativity and Fox Searchlight.

Broad Green, founded by brothers Gabriel and Daniel Hammond in 2014, is currently in production on  “Step Sisters,” a female-centered comedy about an ambitious young girl who teaches the art of Greek sorority stepping to a band of wild students.

On Wednesday, they announced that “Annabelle” director John Leonetti will helm the horror thriller “Wish Upon,” a 2015 Black List script to start shooting this fall with producer Sherryl Clark of Busted Shark Productions.  The script will be written by “The Listener’s” Barbara Marshall.
