CBS has given a pilot order to an untitled comedy from “Mad TV” alum Stephnie Weir.

The multi-camera comedy revolves around a conservative, small town family that is forced to reconcile its values when it discovers that its children’s lives are less than perfect.

Weir serves as writer and executive producer on the project from CBS Television Studios. Greg Garcia also serves as EP for Amigos de Garcia Productions. Alix Jaffe is co-executive producer.

Among the network’s other comedy pilots are “The Kicker” from “30 Rock” team Jack Burditt, Tina Fey and Robert Carlock; “The Great Indoors” from “Tosh.0’s” Mike Gibbons; and “Superior Donuts,” based on the play by Tracy Letts.
