Actors join Bradley Cooper, Janeane Garofalo, Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, Elizabeth Banks, Christopher Meloni and David Hyde-Pierce

Four more big names are joining the star-studded cast of Netflix’s limited series “Wet Hot American Summer.”

Chris Pine, Jon Hamm, Kristen Wigg and Jason Schwartzman have signed on for either a guest starring or recurring role in the eight-part series, a Netflix spokeswoman confirmed to TheWrap.

The series is based on the 2001 film of the same name, which has since garnered a cult following.

They will join many of the original cast, including Bradley Cooper, Janeane Garofalo, Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, Elizabeth Banks, Christopher Meloni and David Hyde-Pierce.

Hamm is expected to play a secret spy; Wiig, a preppy counselor at rival Camp Tigerclaw, while Pine’s character is described as “mysterious.”

Michael Showalter and David Wain — who wrote the movie — will also helm the series. Wain will direct and Showalter will serve as showrunner. The two will also take on executive producing duties, alongside Howard Bernstein, Jonathan Stern and Peter Principato.

The original film was set on the last day of a fictional Jewish summer camp in 1981, while the series is set on the first day.
