Chris Pratt’s ‘Parks and Rec’ Character Burt Macklin Gets His Own Trailer (Video)

Pratt would often channel his FBI alter ego when there was a mystery to solve on the NBC series

Chris Pratt starred as adorable goofball Andy Dwyer on “Parks and Recreation” who would often transform into FBI Agent Burt Macklin to solve mysteries — and now, Macklin has his own action movie.

A fan compiled clips of Burt Macklin throughout the seven seasons of the NBC comedy series, ranging from when he interviewed Leslie Knope’s (Amy Poehler) nemesis Greg Pikitis to saving his wife April (Aubrey Plaza) from a fake intruder. Macklin was introduced in Season 2 when he interrogated Pikitis about vandalizing Mayor Percy’s statue.

The fan also included clips from “Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Jurassic World,” “Magnificent Seven” and Pratt’s upcoming film, “Passengers,” to show how truly skilled Macklin is in combat and other dangerous situations.

Pratt currently stars in Antoine Fuqua‘s “The Magnificent Seven,” which hit theaters on Friday and costars Denzel Washington, Ethan Hawke and Haley Bennett.

Sony dropped the trailer for “Passengers” recently, which costars Jennifer Lawrence and follows two people who give up their lives on earth to take part in a 120-year, maiden space voyage to Homestead Colony II.

It is slated for release on Dec. 21 and is directed by Morten Tyldum.
