Oh, CNN, you probably shouldn’t have done that.
The cable news channel misguidedly posed the following question earlier this week: “Ebola: The ISIS of Biological Agents?” Stephen Colbert took them to task for that blunder in the way only his Comedy Central character can.
“Scientists have long compared diseases to murderous mad men,” Colbert said. “That’s why epidemiologists call tuberculosis ‘Lung Hitler.’”

Colbert, who is trying to coin the present-day epidemic as “Ebolapalooza,” then took “President Barack Ebola” to task for his calmness while the leader of the free world should be in crisis mode.
The “Report” host purposefully misinterpreted Obama’s plan to screen passengers traveling from Ebola hot zones “on both ends of their journeys.”
“Well I’m glad they’re checking on both ends, because evidently that’s where the Ebola squirts out,” Colbert quipped.
The late-night host then introduced America to his hilarious poll on Ebola fear levels.
