Comic-Con 2014: Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow give fans early glimpse at sequel to George Miller‘s apocalyptic sci-fi classic
The first footage from “Mad Max: Fury Road” was rolled out at Comic-Con Sunday by Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow.
If this early clip is an indicator, Tom Hardy may have no problem making fans forget Mel Gibson, who starred as “Mad” Max Rockatansky in the original apocalyptic sci-fi saga back in 1980. The fourth film in the franchise is directed, produced and co-written by George Miller, the man behind the original.
It’s set to be released on May 15, 2015, and should be one of next summer’s biggest films.
