“The Daily Stage” started a meme two weeks ago with “McConnelling,” in which people use awkward campaign footage of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell to create jarring new videos. Now Jon Stewart has introduced Phase Two.
It’s called #MeConnelling, in which you, avid Mitch McConnell fan, insert yourself into the widely circulated footage of him smiling as he sits at his desk and greets constituents.

It’s a game where you now put yourself inside the ads. All you need is a chair, a desk, and a whole lot of creepy smiles,” Stewart explained Tuesday. “It is a fantastic opportunity if you are the weird guy at the office.”
Stewart took the game even further, adding a new element called #mitchtakes, in which we see the things that make the Kentucky Republican smile. And then there’s McConnellhey, which merges McConnell and Matthew McConaughey.
