Dave Legeno, who starred in three “Harry Potter” films as villain Fenrir Greyback, was found dead on Sunday in Death Valley, Calif.

The 50-year-old British actor and former professional fighter seems to have succumbed to “heat related issues,” the Inyo County Sheriff’s Dispatch wrote in a statement, but they are not yet certain.

“The Inyo County Coroner will determine the final cause of death,” the statement continued. “There are no signs of foul play.”

On Sunday, two hikers reported finding Legeno’s remains at around 7 a.m in a desert area so remote that the California Highway Patrol was forced to send out a helicopter out to retrieve them.
