Dick Wolf Debuts ‘Chicago Sanitation’ in Funny or Die Parody (Video)

“Chicago” franchise expansion also includes “Chicago Records Bureau” and “Chicago Animal Control”

Dick Wolf‘s “Chicago” franchise continues its expansion, exploring the live of the men and women into the city’s sanitation department in a new Funny or Die parody.

Following this week’s premiere of “Chicago Med” bringing yet another sector of the city’s public service to NBC, Funny or Die debuted a new parody promo for “Chicago Sanitation,” featuring the behind the scenes drama and romance between Chicago’s trash collectors.

“Television producer Dick Wolf (‘Chicago Fire,’ ‘Chicago Med,’ ‘Chicago P.D.’) never lets a good trope go to waste,” reads the official description. “That’s why he’s recycling the familiar Second City backdrop for a new drama revolving around the City Of Chicago’s public servants working in waste management. Welcome to Chicago Sanitation.”

But rest assured that it doesn’t end with the sanitation department. Additional spinoffs mentioned in the fake promo include “Chicago Records Bureau,” “Chicago Animal Control” and “Chicago the Musical.”
