Syfy has canceled “Dominion” after two seasons, TheWrap has learned.

The series, which is based on the 2011 show “Legion,” is set in a post-apocalyptic setting where lower angels battle mankind for control. Christopher Egan, Tom Wisdom, Roxanne McGee and Anthony Head starred.

“Dominion” recently wrapped up its second season.

“Led by [creator and showrunner] Vaun Wilmott, the talented cast, producers, writers and crew of ‘Dominion’ have done a tremendous job bringing this ambitious, cinematic series to the screen over the past two seasons,” said Syfy in a statement. “We thank them, as well as our producing partners Universal Cable Productions, Bold Films and Film Afrika.”
