It’s Donald Trump vs. Politico, 3.0.

The real-estate-mogul-turned-GOP frontrunner took to Twitter on Thursday to sound off for the third time in two weeks at the all-things-politics website. The White House hopeful called the journalists there “scum,” and alleged the site isn’t doing so well.

“I was so happy when I heard that , one of the most dishonest political outlets, is losing a fortune. Pure scum!” he tweeted.

It’s not clear what story peeved the Donald this time, though. On Wednesday, he went after the “clowns” at Politico for its “dishonest reporting.” Politico fired back, tweeting out potential stories that might’ve drawn the Donald’s ire.

Where Trump got his financial information about the obsessive politics company is anybody’s guess. Over the last few years, Politico has expanded to Europe as well as New York, New Jersey and Florida.

It also recently announced plans for a global expansion with plans to be “in every capital of every state and country of consequence by 2020.”

Doesn’t sound like a company losing a fortune. Politico didn’t immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.
