The Dwayne Johnson-Kevin Hart comedy “Central Intelligence” will open on June 17, 2016, Warner Bros. said Thursday.

The studio then shifted the ‘The Nice Guys,” a crime thriller starring Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe that had been set for that June 17 date, to May 20 of that year.

Rawson Marshall Thurber is directing “Central Intelligence,” which is a buddy action-comedy that sees Johnson as a formerly bullied high school student turned CIA badass, who enlists the help of Hart’s character, a former classmate, to help foil a villainous plot.

“Central Intelligence” will go up against Pixar’s long-awaited animated sequel “Finding Dory.”

“The Nice Guys,” which sees Gosling and Crowe as reluctant investigators of a 1970s murder mystery, will now open against Sony’s video game adaptation “Angry Birds.”
