Dailies | Fake ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Footage Imagines AT-ATs at the Airport (Video)

The video features impressive CGI renderings of the Galactic Empire's entire space fleet

If you think flight delays are bad now, imagine waiting for an AT-AT to clear the runway: A German “Star Wars” fan had some fun with homespun CGI in what he claimed was “leaked” footage from the set of J.J. Abrams‘ “Episode VII.”

The video (above) features Imperial spacecrafts and a AT-AT Walker roaming around Germany's Frankfurt Airport. Even the Death Star makes a cameo.

“Looks like the Story of Star Wars plays on Earth too in the next Episode. I took these pictures on my Flight back from the States to Germany at the Frankfurt Airport,” YouTube user Frank Wunderlich wrote in the description of the video. “Seems like the biggest German airport plays a key role as an imperial starport in the new episode — there have just been imperial forces at the scene.”
