‘Friends From College’ Renewed for Season 2 by Netflix

Comedy starring Keegan-Michael Key and Cobie Smulders coming back for another eight-episode run

“Friends From College” is heading back to town.

Netflix has renewed the comedy from co-creators Nicholas Stoller and Francesca Delbanco for an eight-episode second season.

The series centers on a group of Harvard pals played by Keegan-Michael Key (Ethan), Cobie Smulders (Lisa), Annie Parisse (Sam), Nat Faxon (Nick), Fred Savage (Max) and Jae Suh Park (Marianne).

Stoller (“Neighbors”) directs, and Delbanco is a writer on the series that debuted its first season last month.

“Friends From College” joins other recently renewed Netflix series “Ozark,” “GLOW” and “Iron Fist.”
