Party On! Academy Hosts Wayne’s World Reunion (Photos)

Plus: “Pain & Gain” rolls on without “Rock,” Sylvester Stallone holds court at “The Iceman” premiere, the Kardashian upfront, and  Soho House’s sneaky counterprogramming.

Party On, Everyone! It's a one flight of stairs up and thousands of miles west from Wayne's basement in Illinois to the Academy headquarters in Beverly HIlls.

Dana Carvey, Mike Myers, Lorne Michaels, and Hawk Koch gathered for a "Wayne's World" reunion on Tuesday night. Koch, now the Academy's president, was an executive producer on the 1992 film.  (Todd Wawrychuk/A.M.P.A.S.)

In other "E! news," the Kardashians headlined the E! upfront at The Grand in New York. Above, Kourtney Kardashian, Bonnie Hammer, Kim Kardashian, E! President Suzanne Kolb, and Kris Jenner.

All of the channel's on-air faces turned up, including host Giuliana Rancic (whose “Ready for Love” NBC abruptly cancelled earlier this week) and future faces of E!, “The Wanted.”

Meanwhile twenty-one blocks north on Monday: semi-pro vocalists.

Venus Williams sang on a celebrity karaoke team with sister Isha Price at the launch of the Driving Force Giving Circle at Jelsomino on Monday night. Serena Williams founded the grant-making organization with rapper-actor Common, NFL player James Anderson, and Michael Rose.

Up for auction at the fundraiser? A seat in the Williams family box at this September’s U.S. Open (Winning bid:$6,500) and two aspiring artists paid $5,000 each for a recording session with Common.

Back home in L.A., Avi Lerner, Robert Davi, Sylvester Stallone and “The Iceman” lead Michael Shannon are not your average concession crowd at the Arclight premiere of “The Iceman” on Monday night.

Gerard Butler and Millennium Entertainment's David Sobieraj jumped over to Supperclub for the Deleon Tequila after-party.

Butler was fresh back from the desert, where he was one of the guests at Soho House’s smart satellite.

The secretive Soho staggered their Coachella activation on the under-the-radar second weekend, taking over a huge house in La Quinta. As is their style when they do pop-ups at festivals like Art Basel, T.I.F.F., and the BAFTAs, they brought in almost everything their own (including their furniture and menu). After lots of rum drinks, 1950’s “Bacardi Cadillacs” provided the safe rides for all.

Jessica Alba and festival breakout Major Lazer also enjoyed not having to ride the elevator to the top of 9200 Sunset.
