Fox released two new teasers for Season 2 of its Batman prequel series “Gotham” on Thursday.
One of the videos features the reappearance of “Shameless’s” Cameron Monaghan, who appeared in the first season as Jerome, a villain suspected of killing his own mother. Though reps for Monaghan and Fox have yet to officially confirm, it is widely speculated that Monaghan will play The Joker, Batman’s most famous nemesis.
Fox announced on Tuesday that Michael Chiklis joins the cast for the second season as Captain Nathaniel Barnes, a key member of Gotham’s police force.
The DC Universe show stars Ben McKenzie as young Detective James Gordon, Donal Logue as Detective Harvey Bullock, David Mazouz as an adolescent Bruce Wayne and Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald “Penguin” Cobblepot. It was created by Bruno Heller.
