During press junket for “Guardians of the Galaxy,” Diesel reveals that he just worked with Azalea “two weeks ago” on “Fast & Furious 7”
Iggy Azalea is dipping into the world of acting with a cameo in “Fast & Furious 7.” During an interview, Vin Diesel revealed the “Fancy” singer's involvement in the upcoming sequel.
Diesel was being interviewed for his role in “Guardians of the Galaxy” by Paris radio station Skyrock FM, and he was given a list of three songs to choose which would most inspire him to dance. One of those songs was “Fancy.”
“Iggy Azalea — I just worked with her two weeks ago. I guess you'll be the first person that knows this,” Diesel told the interviewer. “She has a cameo in ‘Fast & Furious 7,’ so I'm going to be loyal to Iggy.”
Directed by James Wan from a screenplay by Chris Morgan, “Fast & Furious 7” also stars Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jason Statham, Jordana Brewster, and Lucas Black. Produced by Diesel and Neal H. Moritz, Universal Pictures will release the film to theaters on April 3, 2015.
Diesel can next be seen as the voice of Groot, a tree-like warrior, in “Guardians of the Galaxy,” opening in theaters on Friday, August 1.
